Accurate prices are the reason this website exists. This page explains where our Burger King prices, nutrition numbers and hours come from, how often we update them and how we correct mistakes.
Where our prices come from
Almost every Burger King restaurant is run by a franchisee that sets its own prices, so the same Whopper can cost almost four dollars more in one city than another. To find a typical price, we:
- Pick a Burger King restaurant near the center of cities across the U.S. Our October 2026 check covered 48 restaurants in 32 states and Washington, D.C., including Alaska and Hawaii.
- Read each restaurant’s public online ordering menu, the same prices any customer sees when choosing that restaurant on bk.com or in the BK app.
- Use the middle price charged across those restaurants (the lower median) as the typical price, and show the lowest and highest prices we found.
Prices are pickup menu prices, before taxes, tips and delivery charges. Delivery prices in the BK app and delivery apps are higher. Meal prices are for a medium meal. We list deals and bundles separately on our deals page.
Where our nutrition information comes from
Calories, fat, carbohydrates, protein and sodium come from Burger King’s own menu nutrition, the values shown on bk.com and in the BK app for the standard recipe. Drink and side nutrition is by size. Where Burger King’s data was inconsistent for an item, we left that item out rather than guess.
Where our hours and location counts come from
Opening, closing and breakfast hours come from the hours each restaurant lists on Burger King’s public store locator; we looked up 912 restaurants near the 48 cities in our price check. Restaurant counts come from the latest quarterly results of Burger King’s parent company, Restaurant Brands International.
How often we update
We review prices at least monthly and whenever Burger King announces a menu change or a new national deal. Each page shows the date prices were last checked.
Corrections
If you find an error, please tell us through our contact page. We review every report and update pages when the evidence supports a change.
